The World Is Big Enough Without You
From the author:
An inadvertent open letter to my childhood best friend...
Another exercise in toxic nostalgia, featuring the ills of growing up, trans*ness, longing for the simplicity of The Way Things Used To Be, and the kind of heartache you don't get for lovers or family but the friends that are closer than family. Sometimes you just grow up and accidentally lose touch with the people that matter the most but you still wonder to yourself if they'd be proud of you now and if their cat is still alive.
