White Rose Collective member Sophie Scholl was executed on February 22nd, 1943 along with Christoph Probst and her brother Hans for distributing anti-Nazi leaflets. She was 21. The White Rose hoped to educate Germans against the evils of Nazism. Their work is particularly relevant during the current rise of Trump and the alt-right.
